Parent Govenor Vacancy - November 2019

We are looking to appoint one Parent Governor to our Governing Body. This letter will act as formal notification to you all of this vacancy.

Below is the outline of the procedure for this process and all of the paperwork required for nominations for the role of parent governor. Alongside this, we have included a brief description of the role, a nomination form and the disqualification criteria.

If more than one nomination is received by the deadline, an election will be held. Nominees will be invited to submit a personal statement of no more than 250 words and these will be sent out to all parents along with a ballot paper.

The dates for this process (assuming an election is required) are as follows:
Monday 18 November: Formal notification to parents of vacancy
Friday 29 November: Deadline for nominations to be received
Tuesday 3 December: Candidates will be invited to submit personal statements
Monday 17 December: Deadline for submission of personal statements
Monday 7 January 2020: Notification of election
Monday 14 January: Deadline for return of ballot papers
Tuesday 15 January: Count
