Networking With Industry Pros

A handful of lucky sixth formers got the chance to a learn and network with industry professionals as part of our yearly visit to the MAD Fest. The UK’s most distinctive + daring invite-only marketing, advertising + disruption festival attended by over 3,000 industry professionals.  

This has shown me the work the employees are involved in and has enabled me to understand the key skills needed to work in a company like this

Getting A Real View Of The Creative Media Industry

A selection of students attended the two day virtual conference to get a real insight into the challenges which brands face today in the creative and advertising space.

 Cheyanne Sloane in Year 13 found the experience a useful experience to learn about the importance of diversity in advertising. 

 “ I saw first hand the importance of communication and problem solving skills in the marketing industry. I also learnt the importance of diversity in today’s world in advertising and how this is high on the agenda of different companies – It was interesting to know about the changes in brands and agencies to support this”.  

Lots Of Opportunities

 The event featured guest speakers from brand managers representing companies like Wickes, Dominos and Vodafone as well as the creatives and agency professionals who develop UK wide and international campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
