What was your favourite part of the experience?
Listening to other groups presentations of their hashtags and the reasoning behind why they chose it and hearing from people in the marketing industry about how they got where they are today.
How has it helped prepare you for a career in the media industry?
I learnt about different marketing strategies and different sectors of digital marketing. I met people in the industry and talked with them about their careers and how they ended up where they are today. I practised teamwork by listening to and contributing to different ideas with people I had met on the day.
What skills did you learn?
Teambuilding and marketing strategies.
What did you have to do as part of the experience?
Work with a team of people to create a trend for TikTok. Effectively create a hashtag and description that fit the format and our ideas.
