The programme is designed so that everyone wins. Our students get supportive and real life career guidance and thirty Global employers get training and development and access to an incredible network of diverse talent – all this helps to make the creative industries more diverse and inclusive.
Students were able to work directly with their mentor to learn everything from practical production skills and CV tips to having discussions about how to successfully navigate the world of the industry and career choice.
Together with Creative Mentor Network – Global staff were able to attend a crash course in mentoring across three workshops which looked at barriers to entry young people may face, unpack theories around diversity and inclusion, and explore coaching strategies.
88% of mentors and 100% of mentees have reported that their sessions are either going well or VERY Well
It’s a fantastic project and there has been some really strong partnerships and professional bonds created. We can’t wait to run it again next year!
