Year 14 Creative Enterprise students spent the morning with creative industry colleagues at Soho Works to learn from experts about life in business, leadership and transformative coaching as part of our partnership with the House Foundations programme from Soho House.

Our inaugural Level 4 cohort got a headstart to achieving their entrepreneurial ambitions thanks to an exciting partnership with the social responsibility arm of the international creative industry members club organisation – Soho House & Co. An exclusive networking event for our students was held at Soho Works White City – a 30000 sq ft of collaborative workspace dedicated to those in the creative industries, based in the prestigious Television Centre.

Students spent the morning in a Breakfast networking mixer with established entrepreneur Veronica Ireland – founder of Imagination Spa and The Playful Games Company who spent time with students to share her wisdom and top tips from her years of experience in the business and media agency world including her guidance around personal transformation thinking – something which our students will be able to utilise to develop their creative enterprises in the future!

Secondly – the group were joined by Eva Lamont, UK Membership, Events and Content Lead at Soho House who enthused students with advice, guidance and mentorship opn how to develop their creative leadership careers after the course!

Before the event – students spent time with Dom Unsworth, CEO of Resource Productions – who provide Global Academy’s in-house careers provision -to develop and excel their networking and communication skills at the event.

The Breakfast networking mixer was a massive success and helped boost the confidence of learners to kickstart their creative enterprises and business plans in the coming months. Thank you to Soho Works and Jamila Brown – Head of House Foundations at Soho House for creating this unique opportunity for our students. We can’t wait for the next event!
