More About the Course
16 to 19 Tuition Fund
The 16 to 19 tuition fund is £96 million of one-off funding for the 2020 to 2021 academic year only. It is ring fenced funding for schools, colleges and all other 16 to 19 providers like Global Academy to mitigate the disruption to learning arising from COVID-19.
This funding will be used to provide personalised support through small group sessions for groups of students who have not achieved grade 5 or above in GCSE maths and/or English by age 16.
As part of Global Academy’s specialism in media – alongside our partners Resource Productions, we will focus on supporting learners with the development of succeeding in the creative media industry and where learning has been disrupted
What Else Can I Study at Global Academy?
Our media qualification is a full time course which is the equivalent of 3.5 A Levels.
Alongside studying the four pathways (Digital, Audio, Visual and Enterprise) all students will get the chance to take part in a wide variety of career and work experience opportunities with industry leading professionals and our own in house careers team.
One minute you could be spending the day with the team at TikTok learning the craft behind creating digital content and the next you could be hearing from a producer from a BAFTA awarding film – we call it #OnlyAtGlobal
