Year 13 students James Finch and Corben Smart performed DJ sets which live streamed to YouTube! You can check our the full event below!

Set up

Students setup and orgainsed the venue to perform the DJ set from, work with budgets for renting equipment and design the technical elements elements of the show. They also produced graphics to for the live stream using a mixture of After Effects and Final Cut Pro, Designed a light show using the Chamsys lighting console.

How did it set you up for the Creative Industries?

We learnt valuable skills in  broadcast and event technology. We were able to evaluate and reflect on what went well and what could have done better! The experience also helped me bulk up my CV and portfolio with a professional looking event which will be attractive to employers!
