Year 12 Unlock Their Potential in the Experiential Marketing Industry

The Year 12 Industry Day at Global Academy was a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the experiential marketing industry.

The Year 12 Industry Day at Global Academy was a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the experiential marketing industry. The day was made possible through a partnership with experiential agency onepointfive and Ideas Foundation.

Students had the opportunity to work on a real-world client brief for Listerine throughout the programme, where they were able to hone a number of abilities like cooperation, organisation, communication, and creating brand experiences. In addition to working on a creative brief, the students had the opportunity to observe other presentations, present their own ideas, and collaborate. The pupils also cited diversity and collaboration as beneficial features of the day. While some students loved the event planning itself, others valued the chance to learn about a different sector of the media business.

The students also gained knowledge of specialised abilities including drawing out a floor design, making a proposal for an idea or plan, and starting an event to promote a new product. Additionally, they discovered that Listerine is the most popular mouthwash brand as well as the many branding strategies and how to publicly communicate them. The day gave the students insightful knowledge and practical experience in the field of experiential marketing.

The Industry Day at Global Academy was a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and learn about the experiential marketing industry.
