Students were lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with industry professionals from Global (our industry partners) on an ad campaign.

Global has launched its first multi-media brand TV ad campaign promoting all of its brands in one place.

In a minute-long television commercial, first aired during Britain’s Got Talent on ITV Saturday night, radio stations were promoted along with Global Outdoor and Global Goodness (Global’s work in the community) all set to the music of ‘Radio Ga Ga’ by Queen.

As well as some of Global’s presenters including Jamie Theakston, Amanda Holden, Roman Kemp and Chris Moyles, ad features singers Harry Styles, P!nk, Michael Bublé, Little Mix, Stormzy and David Guetta.

The advert also featured two of our own students Demi Leigh Roberts and Josech Howell in Year 10 in one of their radio lessons.

Working with Global on this was one of my first experiences working with a company in the media industry! Observing them work was really insightful and helped me realise how production processes work. My favourite part was acting in front of camera and being inspired by the people making the advert.
