At Global Academy, the celebration of Diwali transcended beyond tradition; it became a joyous spectacle of cultural immersion and talent. Led by our students, the day unfolded into a colorful mosaic of festivities, setting a high standard for future celebrations. 

Vice Principal Sophia Martin kicked off the day with an insightful speech, emphasising the significance of Diwali and its cultural importance. Students eagerly took the stage, showcasing their talents through mesmerizing dances, melodious songs, and heartfelt speeches, encapsulating the essence of their heritage and diversity. 

The energy was infectious as the academy reverberated with performances that captured the richness of different cultures. From traditional dances to contemporary renditions, the students’ dedication and enthusiasm shone through each act, uniting everyone in a celebration of unity and diversity. 

As the day progressed, anticipation heightened for the day’s grand finale. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as DJ Kizzi, an illustrious former student of Global Academy and BBC Radio’s Asian Networks host, graced the event. Her pulsating beats and broad mix of party anthems and Asian hits transformed the academy into a pulsating dance floor, concluding the day with pure euphoria. 

DJ Kizzi’s success serves as a testament to the academy’s commitment to nurturing talent, exemplifying the heights our students can reach. Her return to Global Academy for this celebration not only added glamour but also inspired current students to dream big and strive for success.
