Global Academy is proud to have been featured in the Creative Industries Sector Vision report released by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in June 2023. This report outlines a strategic plan to maximize growth, nurture young talent, and unlock the immense creative potential across the country.

The DCMS, recognising Global Academy’s outstanding contribution, has highlighted the institution as an example of best practice in building a highly-skilled, inclusive workforce for the future of the creative industry. The report emphasises the significance of collaborations between the government, industry, and educators in providing children and young people with creative opportunities and fostering talent and skills.

The Creative Industries Vision sets out the shared ambitions to build on that success and maximise the growth of the creative industries by £50 billion by 2030, supporting one million extra jobs and delivering a creative careers promise that builds a pipeline of future talent.

Developed by the UK government and in partnership with the Creative Industries Council (CIC), it is central to achieving the ambitions for growth in the sector and sets out actions that the UK Government and industry have committed to delivering.
