The views of parents are super important to us here at Global Academy.
Parents and carers can give their views of our Academy at any time of the academic year using an online questionnaire called Parent View. To access – please register with an email address and a password at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk.

I have a daughter who started year 10 in September 2020. I had taken her out of school 2 years previously due to issues with bullying and her mental health. She was a bit worried that she would not make friends and would be alone at school but this was not the case at all. She is the happiest she has been in a long time and has made lots of lovely friends thanks to Global Academy. Even with the pandemic, the learning has continued with plenty of support available from teaching staff. As always staff are more than happy to help however they can, Mandy is incredible and we are so glad we have her support. One thing that I love about Global is that unlike other schools, they encourage children to be individuals and although they look smart in their uniform it is comfortable and non-restrictive. Again the level of support and information that Global is providing at the moment is absolutely outstanding and this is why we chose Global as the best place for my child to be.
Since being with you my child has become reignited and now more passionate about her studies. She is talking about her future – A Level’s, University – whereas before she was overwhelmed with dry study and pressure. She used to hate maths and is now open to doing maths at A Level. She talks highly of all your maths teachers.She feels she is taught in a much better way, that the teachers are better, and that she is clever and respected. She says the English teacher has taught her how to write an essay, how to lay it out and before she was just expected to know this and would be made to feel stupid if she asked for help.We feel very lucky to have found Global. Someone stopped me in the street and said I was very brave moving [child] from [previous school] which is a school most parents around here aspire to for their children. But I know the reality is that there are a lot of girls there who have hours of homework, extra tuition in English, maths and the sciences, girls are seeing counsellors and have eating disorders and are self harming (blades and hair pulling). I am so relieved to have my child out of that environment.
