A selection of Global Academy students got the chance to take part in this year’s Radio Festival. Adam Matthews, a Year 13 student, shared his delightful experience, saying,
“Yesterday, I had the delight to volunteer at the Radio Academy 2023 event in Central London. Duties included checking people in reception, helping out colleagues in the backstage departments, running around with microphones, helping guests ensure they knew where they were going, ensuring breaks and lunch went as well as possible, helping producers where needed, and much more. This was a great chance to work ‘behind the scenes’ – and I loved every minute of it – not a dull moment at all.”
