Working with Raw Music and Media
Student Ayesha Amin was involved in a 6-week production program with RAW Music and Media in which she helped to produce, edit and direct a music video for their music video.
Video Production
During the 6 week programme, Ayesha learnt how to edit using industry-leading software Adobe Premiere Pro, how to shoot using film cameras, how to be a director and design a set!

Ayesha’s favourite part was “I luckily was chosen to be the director of the music video so it was quite fun being in charge, I had to write a treatment to show my ideas which my mentor helped me with. Onset, I was in charge of everyone and was mainly working with the camera operator to direct him with the camera and how I wanted the shots recorded.”
Preparing Students For The Industry
Ayesha said working with RAW Music and Media gave her a good idea of what the different roles are within the video production process. It also showed her the amount of effort that goes into the editing process and has given her more of an appreciation for what video editors can do!
