Business is booming for Global Academy entrepreneurs Ronnie and Laila who secured a cash injection and an industry mentor as they became finalists in the ‘Side Hustle Initiative’ competition organised by YourGamePlan.

The Side Hustle Initiative 2020/21 was a nationwide search for all 14-18-year-olds who either are already delivering a side hustle or who have an amazing business idea that they are passionate about launching.

Our very own Laila Beharry in Year 11 and Ronnie Koldashi in Year 13 were finalists in the nationwide search beating hundreds of other young creatives and business owners across the UK – have secured one-to-one professional mentoring for six months and a £500 cash injection to their business ideas after attending a ‘Dragons Den’ style pitch to go straight into growing their business.
